here is everything you really need to know about alzheimer’s disease all in one place… Y name is lianna marie and i have a message for everyone who knows or loves someone with alzheimer’s disease.
a message of hope… A message of support… And a message of encouragement. Even though we haven’t met personally, i know a few things about you… 1) you are very concerned and worried about someone close to you who already has alzheimer’s, or is starting to show early warning signs.
2) you want the best for your family, and would do anything to discover how to help your loved one and your family cope as best as possible through this life changing situation.
how do i know these things? because i have been exactly where you are now like you, alzheimer’s disease has touched my life deeply. My grampa ernie had alzheimer’s. When he was officially diagnosed at age sixty-seven, it broke our hearts . We had no idea what alzheimer’s disease really was… What the future held for him… Or how it would affect his life (or ours).
we immediately began to ask questions like… How much time did we have before alzheimer’s would drastically impact and change his life? how long would it be before he forget who we were? would he still be able to live on his own… Or need full-time care?
