man uses treadmill report to repair broken treadmill and saves over $400.00 on repairs. <p this is where i'm supposed to tell you that if you don't order the treadmill report that you are going to get discouraged and give up and your treadmill will wind up as an old rust bucket or out by the curb waiting on the trash truck. Or worse yet you will wind up spending hundreds of dollars for a service man to come out and tell you that you need lots of new parts only to find out that it was just an adjustment that you could have done yourself. i did order the report and read it, it does provide a lot of valuable info on the maintenance of a treadmill.<p
i checked the speed sensor as you suggested and it was at an angle and about 3/4 inches away from the wheel. As soon as i adjusted it the treadmill worked fine.<p
the repair guy wrote the treadmill needed a new motor controller and a wiring kit. With your advise i fixed it in 15 minutes and no new parts, thanks again
